At Appendage Tattoo, we understand that some tattoos carry deep personal meaning at a young age. In select cases, we will tattoo minors ages 16 and 17 . Additional requirements must be met.
At Appendage Tattoo, we understand that some tattoos carry deep personal meaning at a young age. In select cases, we will tattoo minors ages 16 and 17 . Additional requirements must be met.
Approval is never guaranteed and is determined on a case-by-case basis. We only proceed when the design is:
Tasteful and age-appropriate
Meaningful and unlikely to be regretted later
Placed in an appropriate, non-sensitive area
Sized and styled responsibly
We do not tattoo minors on hands, necks, faces, or other high-visibility or mature placements.Â
Our priority is ensuring that young clients make informed, thoughtful choices and receive artwork they can feel confident about for years to come.

We will need the child's birth certificate, State ID, the legal parent or guardian will need to be present with their State ID and we will need a Parental Consent form filled out and notarized.Â
Some places that offer a notary service are: UPS stores, banks, and libraries.
